When I began this blog back in 2006, my son was 15 months old, still in diapers, barely walking, and even then, a force to be reckoned with.  After two daughters, I had no idea what was in store for me.

A little over a week ago, that boy turned 9.  He comes up just under my chin, and weighs in at nearly 100 pounds.  If I ever let him play football, which I won’t, he would be the quarterback.

If you’d like to frolic down memory lane with me, I will share a blog post from 7 years ago, when the boy child was a wee bit passed his 2nd birthday.

Jensen had two requests for this birthday.  He wanted to go to Animal Kingdom.  And then he wanted to go camping with his family.  We granted both wishes.  Camping is a blog post unto itself.  For now I wanted to share some birthday moments from Animal Kingdom.

Happy Birthday, my fearless baby boy.

  • What a fun birthday!! How he’s changed over the years, and yet he’s very much the same!! Always ready for adventure and excitement!! 🙂

  • Loved all the pictures, but the last one is my favorite!!!

    Happy Birthday Jensen!

BTW: I’ve always believed that the mothers should get presents on the child’s birthday. Seriously, who did all the work???? 🙂

  • Did you hear….MagicBands are available for passholders. 🙂 🙂 🙂 (that’s me doing the happy dance)

    • We’ve been using them over the last few months when we’ve been camping. But I tell you, I don’t like the changes to the Fast Pass system. Not working in the Fl resident’s favor. Boo.

      • I read somewhere (in the last few days, but where TOTALLY escapes me) that soon passholders would be able to schedule Fast Passes before we got to the park. I’d sure LOVE that. If they don’t, I think we should all riot! 😉

I did a survey for WDW the other day that was asking questions about various scenarios for the Fast pass system. Makes me think that everything is not in stone yet.
