Over the last number of years that I’ve been blogging, I’ve talked of my struggles with weight, healthy eating, Lyme Disease, Plantar Fasciitis, Menopause, and body parts that drag on the ground or just fall off. It’s been fun, hasn’t it?
Well. I’ve also talked about our friendship of many years with Lisa Whelchel. She has a new DVD called “Everyday Workout for the Everyday Woman.” And she sent it to me. Not as in a “HERE, YOU NEED THIS” kind of way. A friend would never do that. Rather, my husband told her, “UM, DEEDEE COULD REALLY BENEFIT FROM THIS. SHE COULD, YOU KNOW, REVIEW IT. HINT HINT.”
We’ll miss him.
Actually, he has been gently nudging me to get moving. I’ve had so many muscle and joint issues from Lyme Disease that I’ve completely stopped working out. And I’m back in my stretchypants. As painful as it can be, stretching and gently working out are the very best thing I can do to keep all body parts from coming to a complete standstill.
I’ve attached her intro. She’s just adorable and has me convinced that I won’t end up in traction. So I’m going to give it a go. And I’ll report back in a few weeks.
