As you might imagine, Jensen’s latest obsession is of the extinct variety. His aunt passed along a new book for Jensen to peruse, entitled The DK Picturepedia Dinosaurs – a detailed picture book of All Things Dinosaur.
Keep in mind that this is the same aunt who added this image to Jensen’s young impressionable mind when she passed along a seemingly innocent book about dogs, during the long enduring dog phase.
Fiddledaddy quizzed his boy about the origins of his new found most favorite book, learning that it came from Aunt Cathy. Without prompting, Jensen assured his dad, “Don’t worry, dad, there’s no naked ladies. I checked.”
There you have it, my friends.

Out of the mouths of babes!
Well at least he look. LOL
Except that I noted a tinge of disappointment in his voice.
I had the two girls and THEN the boy. Whoever said boys were easier….I think not. At least not in my case. Now in his early teens, he LOVES cars and trucks. My husband wanted to buy him a car magazine for a treat and I told him to be careful about the pics/ads. My husband, unaware that 90% of magazines contain a pretty good amount of smut. He assured me it was safe (he quickly flicked through it). Sure enough – upon arriving home, I found 4 ads that were quite trashy, so I ripped them out. A few months later my son picked up a magazine at the grocery store and asked if he could purchase it. I gave him a “look” and he said “Don’t worry mom, I already checked it over and there are no trashy ads or big boob pics”! As if he is sparing “me” from our wicked world!
If only we lived in a G-rated world…..
