Oransi Air Purifier – A Giveaway (Closed)

by Fiddledeedee on June 27, 2012

Recently when a package arrived in the mail, Fiddledaddy asked me what it was.  “I’m doing a review for a company that makes your refrigerator smell nice.”

“Is it a pamphlet on how to actually CLEAN your refrigerator?”

He’s hysterical.

Oransi is a company that develops green cleaning products such as air purifiers.  The product that I received is an air purifier designed to eliminate food odors, kill bacteria, reduce food spoilage, and prevent mildew.  All within the confines of my refrigerator.  Which frankly, is a tall order.

Given my refrigerator cleaning phobia and all.

This refrigerator purifier takes up no more room than a pint sized carton of creamer.  It cycles on and off so that you only have to change the 2 AA batteries about once every 90 days.

I don’t know about you, but I often times have a number of science experiments germinating in the bowels of the vegetable drawer at any given time.  And we’re not even doing school.

Things have improved with my use of a roll of masking tape and magic marker to label and date the tupperware housing the leftovers.  But still.  I am a huge fan of fresh garlic and onions, and the two aromas seldom co-exist well in the refrigerator.

Now every time I open the refrigerator door, I’m greeted with, well, nothing that will irritate my heightened olfactory senses.

A Giveaway!

A product to take away the onion smell in the fridge would be great! I also like the idea of their laundry ball.

I would love the v-hepa Max Air Purifier! We used to have an air purifier and I LOVED it, but we killed it. My asthma was much better when we had one!!

I would love to have the max filter. But the refrigerator one is an awesome idea!

I would love an air purifier for my home. My kids and husband have allergies and/or asthma and we definitely need some clean air in our house! :)

I would big fat puffy heart one of these for the bowels of my fridge. I also am very intrigued by the laundry balls. Now I would be both in love and intrigued if they actually did the cleaning for me, but alas it does not.

I love the idea of having clean, fresh air circulating around my fridge. Ionic Fridge purifier is what I would pick.

I already own and use their Robby washball. Love them! But I love the idea of an air purifier for the fridge.

The Robby washball looks very interesting, but I think the ionic fridge purifier would be the way I’d go. I tend to let my fridge go, and it’s not pretty.

The laundry ball it is for me. Although living with an Italian (me), I’m sure my husband would love the refrigerator air purifier. We too, cook with tons of garlic and onions.

My fridge is also a continuous science experiment. *blush* But I am also interested in air purifiers, as we have asthma and allergies in the family and have been starting to research air purifiers.

The fridge air purifier would be my pick, too. Seems like no matter what I do, my fridge is perpetually stinky! Blech.

I think the idea of the Robby Wash Ball is interesting. I’d love to try one of those.

Those Robby Wash Balls look intriguing. It would be nice to not have to pull the heavy detergent bottle down from the shelf above my head…

The Finn UV air purifier. I have heard I would not need to dust so often!!

15 Beth June 27, 2012 at 7:57 pm

The Finn UV air purifier. There are certain times of year my son is absolutely miserable, and we’ve been wanting to get some sort of air purifier. But I love the thought of a fresh fridge too! I didn’t know there was such a thing out there.

The vFinn Hepa air purifier. Living in Florida I am constantly worried about mold!

17 Pam June 27, 2012 at 10:04 pm

Definitely the Finn air purifier. We have pollen, dust and cat dander here – all would be improved with the Finn.

My husband has asthma so to purify the air in our home would be awesome!

19 Heidie Ward June 28, 2012 at 10:06 am

If I could choose, the V Hepa Max air purifier would be my first choice! I have the dubious pleasure of being midway through a series of allergy shots as I am allergic to pretty much everything in Illinois….which is of course, why we live here?

You don’t keep your fresh garlic and onion in the fridge, do you? They both keep longer at room temperature. Or are you talking about the odours of cooked garlic and onion?

Our fridge could soooo use the Ionic Fridge Air Purifier! My hubby has trained our teen-aged son to sound just like him – for example, the comment “What is that fuzzy thing in the bottom drawer, and why does it smell like that?” could have come from either one of them! LOL!
