The winner of “The Confessions of April Grace: In Front of God and Everybody” is #24, Shara.
The question that I posed on this post, was “when you were growing up, what adult in your life would have made for the best character in a book?”
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed reading all of your answers. And I have to say, I do believe that more than a few of you have a book in you.
With the exception of one, all of the answers were about a relative. And let me just say that some of you come from a very colorful gene pool.
The one answer that didn’t include a blood relation was from Tracy, who wrote about living in the same village as the missionary, Opa Williams, when she was a child. He has an autobiography called “A Promise Kept”. My interest was piqued and I must look this book up.
Anyhoo, thank you everyone for sharing your stories with me for this contest.
