Announcing The Curriculum Round-up 2010!

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve already surrounded myself with the curriculum we’re using next year,  rolled around in it on the floor, and am already beginning to make my file folders and set up my Homeschool Journal.

Because I need help that can only come in the way of therapy.  Or by Haagen-Daz.

Anyhoo, I wanted to wrangle all my homeschooling compadres for the Curriculum Round-up I’m hosting on Friday, June 11.  If you have a blog, post about what curriculum you used this last year, what you plan on using this next school year, and/or what did and didn’t work.  In other words, let us eavesdrop in on your homeschooling madness.  I absolutely love to hear about what other homeschooling families are using.

It’s sort of like driving down the street at night, and catching a glimpse of how your neighbors have decorated their houses, that is, if they left their shades open.

Reason #45 why my neighbors always close their shades at night.  And encouraged us to erect the 6 foot privacy fence.  Anyhoo.

Write your own homeschooling post, and link up here next Friday.  And if you don’t have a blog, leave your contribution in the comments!  Feel free to grab the button I made with my own 10 typing fingers at the top (with a good deal of help from Print Explosion).  Oh.  And spread the word!

  • I’m totally game for this! Plus, you’re being so kind as to give me a deadline. I’m liking that!

But, I should possibly write this down on my calendar so I don’t forget!

  • This is great! Thanks! I will be on vacation next week and won’t be able to link in on Friday. Can I link in later- probably Monday?

Yes, of course. I’ll leave Mr. Linky open until Wednesday of next week. Have a great vacation!

  • Ooh! This sounds like a great thing to plan to do and then forget about by Friday.

    I’ll seriously try, though.

  • I don’t homeschool (yet!) but did teach for a while, and some of my homeschooling friends have talked about a website called Qwizzy’s World that is really good for making study guides and quizzes. You can use any curriculum you like because there is no premade bank of questions, and you can format the questions to fit your child’s strengths and weaknesses. It looks like a really good site for teachers, and I thought some homeschooling mamas might want to check it out as well! http://www.qwizzysworld.com

  • Looking forward to joining in on this!
