We bought our first computer when I was still in my 20s and our son was 4. It took him maybe 2 weeks to become more proficient than I was and there's never been any let-up. He built his first computer from used and discarded parts at age 10, started making money fixing/installing/teaching computers at age 13 and he has his own computer business today. Thankfully he doesn't rub it in and is my go-to guy for all things techy. If he's not available, I call his little sister.

I love the whole lying liars from Liarsville - that's some good stuff right there ;) I would love to check out the new iPad, however, I made a pact with McDaddy that IF he bought me an iPhone, I would not whine about anything for months. A month or so later, I started my campaign for a MAC. He didn't take the bait, but ordered a beautiful brand spankin' new PINK DELL which I adore. I have a few more months on my no whine pact, but I'm guessin' it will fall on deaf ears anyway. McDaddy is not big on spending double the money for anything, so it will probably be years before I get a MAC or PAD or anything else bearing the apple logo.

Surely to goodness the powers-that-be at Apple, Inc. could have come up with something better than iPad. I had to laugh when I heard the name and figure it will be just days before the jokes start rolling. Funny thing is, the jokers from Apple will be rolling all the way to the bank - jokes or no jokes - thanks to their new device!

Lying liars from Liarsville! Fun-ny! We are planning on throwing our TV out the window considering how much value our kids place on it.
I hide my treats too, from those children of mine. Husband refuses to text, so much for that...As for the iPad, well, I honestly love all things "Apple" but seriously, couldn't they have come up with a better name? Guess not.
