The images coming out of Haiti are horrifying and heart breaking. Many upstanding organizations are sending aid. If you are looking into a way to help, please go to Samaritan’s Purse. I cannot even imagine the hopelessness and fear that these people, who live in one of the poorest nations of the world, must be enduring.

It took me the longest time to figure out how to talk to my children about this. We don’t have children so they only knew very little, mostly from kids at AWANAS.
