Aw, come on, DeeDee ... I can't believe you're not ready to experience a trip like that WITH your kidsin tow too! If you got that much blog fodder from a solo trip imagine what a literary masterpiece would be inspired with Emme, Cailey and Jenson along! You might even win an award!

Seriously ... I travelled by air from Tulsa to Dallas (or Chicago) to PA and back at least 4 times a year with my boys from the time my oldest was 3 months old (yes, my sister got married when I was only 90 days postpartum ... the NERVE!). I would be glad to share my experiences should you decide that the benefits of a personal experience would not outweigh the toture involved! Just give me credit in your acknowledgements ...

Oh dear. I can't think of another reason to get on a plane until I have grandkids in 2020 and have to fly to see them for Christmas, or something like that. Airports = "The Bad Place," opposite of heaven. Thanks for the shout-out, even though you had me in knots at 7:47 am. And I cannot believe I just typed "747!" That is crazy!

I just love your writing. You take the simplest thing and turn it into such a story.

Too funny and glad you made it safe and sound.

Nothing like an airplane trip to make you re-evaluate life in general! Great post.

Spent a good portion of my life in Ohio! My fondness for Cincy extends mostly to Graeter's ice cream. And the river walk. But not so much to the crazy streets, which got me lost on several occasions. (Pre-GPS-woman days, of course.)
