A few months ago, I watched MC Hammer's life story on TV...very interesting!!!
My kids have been listening to "Can't Touch This" on Radio Disney for the last year. It definitely brings back some crazy memories for me;)

ohhhhh....I LOVED MC Hammer (and still do). Even went to his concert many years ago that opened with the ever so talented Vanilla Ice. Oh, yeah. I am soooo cool.
Our family can often be caught jammin to those "oldie" hip hop songs. They're just plain fun.

Tragic.

I'm kidding.

I must be the oldest person who posts on here. I *knew* MC Hammer is in the music biz, as opposed to having a career say, as an astronaut or something, but probably have never even heard his stuff, because I have no radio/stereo system in my vehicle and I turn on the radio about once or twice a year in the house. My CD collection is small and when I listen to music it is usually Andrea Bocelli. Can't get enough of him...

My boys have their iPods, so I don't hear what they listen to.

One of my most cherished memories is from the early 90's when we bought the Northern Exposure (TV show) soundtrack, an eclectric collection of music, and my three young boys would dance around the family room with total abandon. They made me laugh so hard. I always wanted to video tape them, but they refused, so it just remains a movie in my head.

My mind suddenly pictured my daughter, when she was about 18 months old, doing the little pony-prance that was her own special dance. The TV was on and she was dancing to the Black Eyed Peas song that plays in the Garfield movie ("Hey, Mama," I think it's called?). I have never laughed so hard in my life.

I had Hammer Pants, too. I was so stylin'. In seventh grade. It was sad, though, because I never could quite do the Hammer dance, try though I might.
