And we even had a very long chicken snake INSIDE our house when my kids were babies (the only snake I have ever seen at this house, too!). And I posted a story once about a snake in the nursery at church during VBS week. But by far the creepiest thing was when I went outside and called "Here, Kitty, Kitty," and a giant possum came running for the food. I have warned my girls repeatedly that there could be one in the hay barn or feed area at any time. I have also instructed them as a good Mom would do -LOL- that the only good snake is a dead one!
